COOKOUT - Test Your Skills at the Grill!
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
MyCreative Ventures (“Organiser”) is the organiser of this competition - Cookout BBQ Edition (the “Competition”) with the objective to promote the Malaysian culinary art scene.
The Cookout Finals and judging will be held during RIUH’s March 2019 edition. Each finalist will be preparing and selling their selected dishes that weekend. * RIUH (“RIUH”) is a curated creative platform that features a variety of pop-up stores & food, creative workshops, showcases and live performances.
WHAT IS OUR IDEA OF BBQ?
We are open to a variety of styles and cuisine as long as it requires the food to be prepared on an open fire using halal ingredients. We are open to new ideas & NOT limited to steaks, ribs or brisket. Nusantara grilled dishes such as Satay and Ayam Panggang are also acceptable.
Aged 18 and above
Entrant shall be responsible to cook and sell the food during the final round
Entrant may be a Business or an individual
Closing Entry for submissions: 10 March 2019*
Finalists Announcement: 14 March 2019*
Finals: 30th and 31 March 2019*
Winners will be announced at the Finals*
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS & CONDITIONS:
Entrants must submit the following before 10th March 2019:
An overview of the entrant’s Business or Food Concept which include but not limited to:
Pictures of food and brief description of the food to be presented and sold;
Brief description of the person behind the food or business;
Selling price and target market; and
Unique Selling point.
The overview can be via PowerPoint, video recording or word
A Copy of entrant’s NRIC
A Completed entry form. A separate entry form is required. The entry form can be downloaded from www.mycreative.com.my
All the above must reach the Organiser via email by 10th March 2019. Please email email@example.com and kindly ensure the email is titled with “COOKOUT” followed by full name.
Each email entry will be acknowledged by an auto-receipt reply form the Organiser. If the participant does not receive any reply within three (3) days after submission, kindly contact the Organiser. Proof of emailing cannot be accepted as proof of delivery.
Entries that qualify to the Finals will be required to be a run a sponsored booth at RIUH’s March edition (www. riuh.com.my) to present their food and sell their products to the public on both the 30th and 31st of March 2019. *
Finalists (Food preparer and Server) are required to provide evidence that they have undergone typhoid vaccination.
Entries that fail to comply with any of the above Entry Procedures and Terms and Conditions of the Competition will be disqualified.
