The Global Entrepreneurship Movement is an NGO that aims to build, promote, internationalize and connect Malaysia based entrepreneurs and the Malaysian entrepreneurship ecosystem to the global movement of entrepreneurs;

GEM aims to:

Work together with all other government agencies and private sector players to collectively create an entrepreneurial movement in Malaysia;

GEM is the brainchild of the Treasury Secretary General, Tan Sri Dr. Irwan Serigar bin Abdullah. Tan Sri Irwan as the Patron of the organization is supported by a group of office bearers who are working on a voluntary basis to support this vision. The office bearers are from various government and private sector organizations
