By submitting the official Application Form, the Applicant is deemed to have unconditionally accept the following terms and conditions:

2. Name of the Competition
StarGl!tz 3.0 – ignite your music soul (the “Competition”)
3. Brief Mechanism of the Competition
The Competition comprises of the following phases:
3.1 YouTube Submission
The Contestant (solo or group) is required to perform a song with a minimum duration of 60 seconds to a maximum of 90 seconds, recorded into a video clip and uploaded onto YouTube. Contestants have the choice to sing, play musical instrument or both. Please see Entry Procedures and Conditions at Clause 7 for more information.
The performance will be judged by the panel of judges appointed by MyCreative based on established scoring criteria. Contestants will be shortlisted to qualify for the next round – Public Voting.
The name of shortlisted Contestants will be announced on 9 October 2017 via MyCreative’s official Facebook page @MyCreativeVentures.
3.2 Public Voting
The YouTube video of shortlisted Contestants will be then uploaded by MyCreative to its official YouTube and Facebook for public viewing for public voting for a period of 3 weeks from 9 October 2017 to 30 October 2017.
Only Top 10 Contestants with highest “Likes” from both MyCreative’s official YouTube and Facebook page will be selected to qualify for next round – Live Performance. The name of Top 10 Contestants will be announced on 1 November 2017 via MyCreative’s official Facebook page @MyCreativeVentures.
3.3 Live Performance
The Top 10 Contestants (hereinafter called as the “Finalists”) will be called on 25 November 2017 (a single day event) to perform songs of their choice in front of MyCreative’s panel of judges.
There will be only one stage under this Live Performance.
Top 10 Finalists are required to perform 2 songs of their choice. Champion, 1st and 2nd Runners Up will be determined based on the judges’ score.
In the event of a tie, the elimination of Finalists shall be determined by the Organiser’s panel of Judges.
· Champion: RM8,000 + a chance to do a demo recording.
· 1st Runner Up: RM3,000 + a chance to do a demo recording.
· 2nd Runner Up: RM2,000 + a chance to do a demo recording.
(a) The Competition is open to all Malaysian aged 16 and above;
(b) Contestants can be solo or in a group; and
(c) Choice of songs can be original materials or cover songs;
(a) Employees of MyCreative and immediate family members of such persons; and
(b) Employees of sponsors and their immediate family members.
For the avoidance of doubt, immediate family members mean spouse, parent, children, siblings and spouses of parent, children and siblings.
7. Entry Procedures and Conditions
(i) Contestant is required to perform a song with a minimum duration of 60 seconds to a maximum of 90 seconds, recorded into a video clip and uploaded onto YouTube. The privacy of the uploaded videos shall be set to ‘’unlisted”. (Please see YouTube video privacy settings for more information);
(ii) Any video which was previously published in any forms and platforms cannot be used for this Competition and application;
(iii) The uploaded videos shall be named as StarGl!tz 3.0 followed by the Name of the Song & Contestant;
(iv) Contestant must complete the Application Form that can be downloaded from www.mycreative.com.my;
(v) The link of the YouTube videos, completed application forms and a photocopy of NRIC of the Contestant(s) shall be sent to email@example.com by 30 September 2017;
(vi) The link of the unlisted YouTube Videos shall not be shared or sent to any third party save and except for this Competition;
(vii) The subject of the email should be StarGl!tz 3.0 followed by the Contestant(s)’ Name;
(viii) The Contestant shall only submit one application;
(ix) Each application will be acknowledged by an auto-receipt reply. If the Contestant does not receive any reply within one (1) week of submission, kindly contact firstname.lastname@example.org; and
(x) Application that fails to comply with any of the above Entry Procedures and Conditions shall be disqualified.
8. Special Terms and Conditions
(i) Where an original material is used or performed by the Contestant during any stages of the Competition, the Contestant must ensure and undertake that it does not infringe any rights, ideas, or concepts of any third parties;
(ii) Where a Contestant is selected as the Top 10 Finalists of the Competition, one must be able to take time off from their daily activities, or employment, at any time during the Competition period, as may be requested by the Organiser at its sole discretion;
(iii) In the event the Contestant decides to withdraw from the Competition, the Contestant shall, on demand, reimburse the Organiser for all losses, costs and expenses incurred by the Organiser as a result of the Contestant’s withdrawal (including, without limitation, fully refunding any payments made by the Organiser to the Contestants); and
(iv) The Contestant shall notify the Organiser of any contractual obligations or agreements entered with any recording labels and the Organiser reserves the right to request for such contracts / agreements.
9. General Terms and Conditions
(i) By entering this Competition, Contestants agree to comply with Entry Procedures and Conditions, General Terms and Conditions and Special Terms and Conditions (collectively called “Terms and Conditions”). Non-compliance of these Terms and Conditions will result in disqualification from the Competition;
(ii) The Contestants must adhere to the mechanism of the Competition as may be briefed and communicated to the Contestants by the Organiser throughout the Competition;
(iii) By entering this Competition, Contestants hereby warrant that all information submitted are true, current and complete. The Organiser reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all Contestants and disqualify any contestants for submitting false information;
(iv) By entering this Competition, Contestants hereby irrevocably and unconditionally consent and authorise the Organiser to use its name, likeness, image, voice, and/or appearance as such may be embodied in any pictures, photos, video recordings, audiotapes, digital images, and the like, taken or made;
(v) By entering this Competition, Contestants must agree and understand that the Organiser shall have complete ownership of such pictures, photos, videos, recordings, audiotapes, digital images, and the like, taken or made on behalf of the Organiser’s activities and programmes, including the entire copyright, and may use them for any purpose consistent with the Organiser’s vision and mission that shall include, but are not limited to, illustrations, bulletins, exhibitions, videotapes, reprints, reproductions, publications, advertisements, and any promotional or educational materials in any medium now known or later developed, including materials on the internet;
(vi) By entering this Competition, Contestants must acknowledge that it shall not receive any compensation, etc, for the use of such picture, photos, video recordings, audiotapes, digital images, and the like, take or made by the Organiser, and hereby release the Organiser and its agents and assigns from any and all claims which arise out of or are in any way connected with such use;
(vii) The Organiser reserves the right to cancel or amend the Competition’s rules at its sole discretion without any prior notice. Any changes will be an amendment to the mechanism and Terms and Conditions of the Competition;
(viii) The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify any Contestants if it has reasonable grounds to believe that the Contestant is not eligible or has otherwise breached any of the Terms and Conditions;
(ix) The Organiser reserves the right to request the Contestant to change song for the Competition as the Organiser deems fit;
(x) The Organiser reserves the right to amend, postpone or reschedule the Competition period or any of the dates thereof at its sole discretion;
(xi) The Organiser reserves the right to showcase/publicise/disclose the videos/details included in the application for public viewing for public voting or any other purposes deemed appropriate by the Organiser and the Organiser reserves the rights to brand, tag, mark, edit, modify, extract, impose any changes to the video as deemed appropriate for the abovementioned purpose; and
(xii) In the event of any dispute regarding the rules, conduct, results and all other matters relating to the Competition, the decision of the Organiser shall be final and no correspondences, discussions and/or appeals will be entertained at any point of time throughout the Competition period.
10. Organiser’s Liability
The Organiser will not be responsible or liable for:
(i) Any problem, loss, injury, disappointment or damage of whatsoever nature suffered by any party due to any delay and/or failure in submitting the application and throughout the Competition period;
(ii) Any problem, damage or loss of whatsoever nature to any Contestants, or their authorised representatives resulting from their participation on the Competition at any point of time throughout the Competition period;
(iii) Any compensation sought by third party as a result of copyrights infringement caused by any Contestants;
(iv) Any damage or loss of whatsoever nature to any Contestants’ music instruments, original materials, computer and/or electronic devices;
(v) Any technical issues in relation to any telecommunications or internet network (including in relation to speed or bandwidth), including any injury or damage to Contestant's or any other person's device related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in the Competition; and
(vi) Any other liabilities, actual or contingent that may arise from any other reasons and parties associated with this Competition and materials submitted.
11. Personal Data Protection
The personal data collected will be processed by the Organiser to administer Contestants’ participation in the Competition. By virtue of the Contestant entering this Competition, the Contestant is giving consent to the Organiser to use the information for its purposes. The Organiser will take all the physical, technical and organisational measures needed to ensure security and confidentiality of the Contestant’s personal data provided.
